Abstract
A comparative anatomical and morphological observation was conducted on Lantana camara L., L. viburnoides (Forssk.)Vahl, L. hispida H.P.K. and L. montevidensis (Spreng.) Briq. The variation in vegetative and floral morphology as well as diversity of anatomical features besides level and shape of stomata and types of trichome supports the definition of each studied species. Two artificial keys based on these characters were designed.
